Welcome to doumbekdan.com! This site will eventually evolve into my own little chunk of shameless self-promotion on the web. It's a little sparse at the moment, but I've been lying a bit low, honing my technique, and fumbling madly with a tiny home studio.

Up there on top is a link to a super-quick music sample, so you can get an idea of what I'm all about. I appreciate and try to emulate classic Arabic technique, while adding my own weird mixture of audio spices. Hip-Hop, Mediterranean, West African, and little bits of latin all make their way into the soundscape at one time or another.

I'm up for ensemble play, recording sessions, drum solo choreography, or whatever else you think might need a doumbek, djembe, or monkey with a bangin' stick. Shoot me a line, and let's talk drumming.
